    Stanionis Ortiz Crawford

Stanionis Ortiz is a good fight

But what is happening with Ortiz and the WBO?

Ortiz has been no.1 with WBO for over a year since May 2021

Crawford will have another mandatory due by May 2023

So if Stan Ort is in March/April

Why isn't Ortiz petitioning wbo to be officially called mandatory for Crawford and that would then happen next by May

None of that matters, cause Stanionis wins that fight.

Crawford will likely again follow his pattern of either fighting a guy who is on his way out the door, or fighting someone that most folks have barely heard of. This is pretty much his MO!

Simply go to fighthub. Oscar is doing a video where he says we are going the WBA route. The reporter asks him about WBO and Crawford. Oscar says that is a difficult fight literally for Ortiz. Crawford is a very complex, and a great fighter. Keep believing the Spence fanboys and LDBC nonsense on this site. Boxers know skills.

        WBA Spence - Ortiz Stan
        WBC Spence - Keef
        IBF Spence - Ennis
WBO Crawford - Mandatory 1 and 2 refuse to submit paperwork or any type of petition. See WBA and IBF mandatories since they fill those spots. Also Ennis is under contract with Showtime which means Espinoza would have to make an offer to Crawford just like BlackPrime. Let me do that again. Showtime make an offer on behalf of Ennis, LOLOLOLOLOL! Do they even have the money since Paramount + is in consolidation mode? Some of the jokers on here don't even know that.

They can't even get across the finish line with Spence Crawford.

My point was why Ortiz wasn't going for that fight instead of Stanionis

GBP probably doesn’t let him. Ortiz doesn’t call the shots. When asked in a post fight interview on tv, he said he would fight Crawford or anyone. But that’s GBP’s call to make.

As fans, we always want the best to fight the best at every level of “best”. Right now, we want Spence vs Crawford because they’re more level. It’s a 50-50 fight. They are the best at 147.

Vergil Ortiz is one of the “perceived” best. He’s largely untested. As a fan you may want Ortiz vs Crawford now, but would you really want to see Ortiz with his best win being vs Maurice Hooker, jump to a Crawford fight?

I think this fight is actually a good step up fight for both he and Staniosis. It’s really going to say a lot about both fighters. A lot of questions will be answered.
