He doesn’t seem to really know what he wants

Robert Garcia said Joshua and him had some arguments, because Joshua didn’t like being pushed too hard in the gym and they weren’t giving him credit and buttering him up when he did something well

what I’ve been saying for years is true, that he got so much in his comfort zone at that sports Institute in Sheffield that’s not really a boxing gym that he can’t handle being in a real boxing gym full time with trainers who will push you. He just wants to be in comfort zone with his friends walking around in flip-flops, like it’s a holiday camp.

That’s why he also has no real ring craft or veteran tactics or dirty tricks in the ring, because he spent the last decade at the lottery funded sports Institute with amateur boxers, not a real boxing gym with smart experienced fighters that well teach you things. He should’ve been a proper boxing environment a decade ago, building up his ring craft and his toughness.

I saw improvement in the last fight. He boxed better than in the first fight - I assume a lot of that was down to Garcia.
Everybody is hot on Anderson because he is KOing never-weres yet down on Joshua who has proven himself to be a top HW and in my eyes he's still improving slightly.
My only negative would be the reaction immediately after the fight - but he has kind of owned it - hopefully that was an anomaly.

I'd like to see Anderson vs Wallin - that would tell us a lot about both.

AJ 's biggest problem is lack of stamina. You can't win fights if you can't throw punches.

Makes sense to get your team in place before picking an opponent. With the recent losses and how they have affected him mentally, it might be good that he's not rushing things.

I thought Robert Garcia did a good job and was giving good advice in the corner.

Joshua should have stayed the course with him.

LoL! hearn always gotta serve AJ up as a "show pony" ... needing all his attention over every little aspect of "his next appearance". It is pitiful. If he needs a team shut up and take care of your business. Why are you out here telling us this nonsense. He doesn't seem to want to listen to anyone anyway. Or let them set up the show (AJ that is).

PS - They won't fight Wilder with ANY team. Unless Wilder limps in there blind.

I thought he worked well with Garcia. He does have to find a team and stick with them though, most of what needs correcting with AJ at this point in my opinion is upstairs.
