Worthless mandatory! Joyce is the better match up for the winner, esp Fury, because I think knows something from sparring and might be able to stop him. Usyk will just be pitty pat angle run around the ring angle pitty pat. Then again, I could settle for Wilder Joyce in the O2. DDD is like Munguia, forever learning.

Maybe one of the belts becomes the “real” belt and thus simplification occurs?
Too true. We can only hope.

"The call for Usyk-Dubois, however, speaks more to the WBA’s renewed commitment to eliminating all secondary titles from existence. The title reduction campaign began last summer, with just six divisions still claiming multiple WBA titleholders—heavyweight, super middleweight, middleweight, welterweight, lightweight and strawweight."

OK, bring that same energy to 135, and 168!

This actually makes perfect sense. This allows Tyson Fury to fight Chris Healey for the Central Area title, the only belt he has not won, before unifying against Usyk, after Usyk beats Dubois. Then Tyson Fury will be officially the only man to have completed boxing.

Chris Healey is a man with a belt, he will not be easy, and of course, it's a PPV, maybe £25. If Fury beats Healey for another belt, what a win that would be. Nash out

If Fury is not fighting Usyk next, he should fight The Juggernaut.

That being said, an exemption can be applied for to put the mandatory back, to allow the undisputed fight. This will happen if all parties truly want the undisputed fight. It can be contested by Dubois, but won't be, as he's promoted by Warren, who obviously handles Fury. So, Dubois will get a nice little step aside cheque, and after his last performance it's in his best interests to take another fight anyway, as he's clearly not ready for Usyk yet. This will be OKd by the WBA if all parties are in agreement. Then the undisputed fight can happen. If Fury actually wants it. The WBA will then re- order the consolidation fight for the winner.

The ASSOCIATION will stimulate the making of unification Title Fights with other recognized organizations, and to such event the ASSOCIATION will keep a special legislation applicable for this type of fights, aimed at to facilitating the fulfillment of the obligatory defenses of the Unified Champions in coordination with other organizations

You are partly correct but there is specified rule outside the usual exemption process. Do you think the IBF will fall in line?
