As a subscriber whos grandfathered in for the $100/yearly subscription,I still find quite a bit of value in it for myself. Joshua,Ryan,Vergil,Bam,Estrada,Bivol are all young fighters I enjoy watching fight so catching them a few times a year for $100 is a bargain considering all the ppvs being forced down our throats. Only other promoter providing better content and at a cheaper price is TR.

Obvioudly wasn't happy about them implementing ppv and being asked to pay $60 to watch Canelo vs GGGrandpa. So guess what,I didn't.
It was great for boxing fans. You’d get 4 shows a month minimum the vast majority featuring world title fights. I remember them showing 3 cards back to back once. Khan vs Diaz followed by Martinez vs Murray followed by Garcia vs Judah. Unfortunately they didn’t have the backing and when bigger networks like Sky began to price them out they fell apart and the channel is basically obsolete now.

Yeah us boxing fans, need to vote with our feet more often. I barely ever buy PPV’s now, more out of principle than anything else. The money these networks recoup NEVER gets re-invested back into the sport and that really p***es me off, it’s just take, take, take.

It’s a complete joke isn’t it. The UK subscribers have it worst as well IMO. I mean look at the last few months alone:

      - Canelo-GGG 3 on PPV at 5 o’clock in the morning.
      - YouTubers regularly on PPV
      - Mayweather exhibitions on PPV

What exactly are you subscribing for?

Boxnation had a slither of the budget DAZN had and for a similar monthly fee they were giving us Top Rank, Golden Boy and PBC cards in the US, Sauerland and K2 cards in Germany, various other cards across Europe and the rest of the World, then on top of that, fights like Mayweather-Canelo, Mayweather-Maidana 1 & 2, Pacquiao-Bradley, Canelo-Cotto etc were all part of your monthly subscription.

DAZN do not deliver for subscribers whatsoever.
BoxNation in its prime between about 2012-2014 was brilliant

I’m surprised it’s still operating, although it doesn’t seem to really have any live events anymore and I know ****** won’t be making it available on any platforms from this week, so I guess it’ll probably cease to operate together at some point soon.

The thing is, we actually don’t get a lot of fights from abroad anymore. The PBC stuff mostly ends up on that Fite TV. The Inoue v Butler fight doesn’t have a UK broadcaster I think. So there is actually still a market for something like BoxNation to pick up international fights.

It’s owned by Viaplay Sports group now and will be removed from all platforms shortly. The days of Buncey being in the studio at 5am are long gone unfortunately.

It frustrates the life out of me. Sky show Top Rank and DAZN show GBP. However, nobody shows Showtime or Fox cards anymore, even when it’s fighters who’d draw a good audience like Tank, Spence, Wilder etc.

Sky signing the TR deal was detrimental IMO. Sky used to pick up all the big US fights but now they effectively just exclusively show TR shows.

I ****canned DAZN after they made Ryan Garcia Emmanual Tagoe a $15 PPV in the Canadian region only. It's not like I really wanted to watch that crappy fight but the audacity of charging extra for it, and only in Canada... Felt pretty insulted. Demanded my money back for the month I had already paid in a rage-filled email. They complied at least.

I told them to delete my account, I'll never use them again, and any further charges on my credit card will be reported as fraudulent.

I guess that's what I get for trying to do things the right way. I'm just another AH customer to them. So if you do need to use DAZN on a temporary basis, make sure to cancel IMMEDIATELY after subscribing or you will be charged extra.
This is standard procedure for any rolling contract. Its 30 days notice, will be in the tc's and c's
