Comments Thread For: Leigh Wood vs. Josh Warrington Could Still Happen Next Summer, Says Hearn

Former two-time featherweight champion Josh Warrington is still in position for big fights, according to his promoter Eddie Hearn. Some of the options include a domestic showdown with WBA champion Leigh Wood at Nottingham Forest's City Ground or a potential trip to the United States for a big fight.

Head guards need to become mandatory when facing against ram skull but then again deluded Wood needs some sense knocking into him after saying he won Saturday.

Be interesting to see if there was a rematch claus. All said & done Warrington's had it all his own way regarding fighting in Leeds. I'm not sure who handle's Lopez, but it was close, so why not have a rematch in the states or Mexico. As for Wood he needs to concentrate in getting LSC into the ring this year.

Why would anyone want to face Warrington. Those head butts are plentiful during the fight and he is dirty as hell. He has to fight Lara at one point but he will head butt him again.

These two are both domestic level so England is where they should stay.

Wood v Lopez please.........! Warrington is obviously not the threat. With Conlan v Warrington on the undercard is how this should work.
