These companies need to take a loss to pay less taxes. Without getting into my income, because I am doing ok for myself, tee hee. If I make 250,000 a year, I will make a lot less than if I make 220k a year because I will be in a higher tax bracket where the taxes are much higher. That's a lot it is. Nothing more. They expect to lose money.

Damn, then what does that makevthe investors at Waddell & Reed that Haymon/PBC fleeced for $600 million??Comment
-
Simply because Al has a non disparagement and forced arbitration clause. Other promoters don't put such ridiculous clauses in their contracts, hence why that Kid Austin decided against signing with PBC.Comment

LOL, no guarantee, shelved for over one year, no statements. Obviously, they were trying to play a Kovalev 2.0 on him. He takes the fight with no warm up and Al comes back and says it only broke even so here's your $100 check. Good thing Crawford doesn't listen to Al Haymon fanboys,Comment

I've seen at least 200 promoter agreements during my career.
ARBITRATION CLAUSES are in ALMOST EVERY promoter's contract. Non-disparagement very common too. Golden Boy has both in almost all of their contracts.Comment
