I never care about views. That's not the reason to post up something.
But I do understand your point.
Tabloid papers sell more than quality novels.
I was reading a Dan Rafeal live chat and someone asked him what he thought of the tyson movie, and that fat **** said "i thought it was tyson making alot of excuses but its from his point of view"
i dont know if you have seen the movie, but i didint feel that way at all, he gave great insight into his feelings and why things happened the way it did, it annoyed me hed even say that.

what did you think?
Never understood why Dan got the job in the first place and don't understand what others see in him (if they do).
I'm more in favor of ESPN hiring a great writer/reporter or hiring Former Pro fighters to cover the sport and write about it. If they need a ghost writer to help them with the written portion...so be it. Shell out the money for quality.
When I watch ESPN Football coverage, I'm not listening to that Moby looking guy...I'm listening to the former Pro athletes for my information.
Why O Why???
Anyway...
Somebody should ask him what his view of "excuses" are compared to "reasons"
When you read a history book, say on Napoleon's loss at Waterloo...what is being discussed?
Now are they "reasons" or "excuses" for Napoleon's defeat?
Is explanations an excuse or a reason?
Maybe it can be seen as a little bit of both.
You have to also see where the blame is going.
Would Napoleon's mental and physical state at that point in time be an excuse or a reason for the loss?
As well as the conditions of his army and place and time he was fighting...as well as many other factors.
Giving Douglas credit takes away the "excuse" part if we are talking about that fight. There is enough information that was revealed about what was going on with Tyson before that fight...as well as fights prior. What Tyson has to take blame for is being ill-prepared for the fight as well as other fights...and making the wrong choices in leaving what got him to the top. Tyson needs to take blame for his fall as well.
If we talk about his possible breathing problems, well, it gets a bit trickier.
What exactly would be the excuses Dan is talking about?
I just posted up the Bruno vs. Tyson pre-fight videos. Listen to what Bruno had to say why he would beat Tyson.
Tyson's life was fallling apart. In the videos I posted up with Spinks...it was mentioned that Tyson talked about quitting the sport. That's why I posted it up. Tyson first says it from what I've seen at the post-Spinks press-conference. He was fed up with everything. If you can't get your life in order outside the ring, how are you supposed to do well inside?
Tyson gave credit to Douglas for the win but since Tyson knew the "reasons" why he lost...which was being unprepared...he wanted the rematch. If Tyson was at his best and got destroyed by Douglas like that, I wonder if he really would have wanted the rematch...not so sure he would.
