He called out Spence in the ring, after he destroyed Custio Clayton! He's been calling out Thurman and Stanionis, and he thought he was going to fight one of them next! Thurman said he never heard of Boots! Lol! Boots fights on Showtime, but has no deal with PBC, which is making things for him (and Brandun Lee) very hard! I think Cameron Dunkin needs to make a deal with Al Haymon ASAP! The current relationship is not helping his fighters!

Crawford said he was always gonna fight this year and had just spent 6months plus trying to get a fight with PBC. He knew it was ball ache with no chance of success dealing with the US promoters so looked elsewhere for less hassle. Fight made. Ennis will get his chance.....unless he's all hype and gets smoked

If Bud had made the fight with Boots I think everyone would have given him credit for it. Beating Boots would have positioned him as top fighter at 147 imo and been a statement that Spence couldn't ignore without losing face. As it is, fighting Ava isn't a good look. I think Bud missed a trick here. It's a real shame because his skills and ability are undeniable, but damn man, challenge yourself ffs...
