So how much credit to you give him for winning against a tune-up?

Shane is just one of the best in WW division, PBF is not man enough to take on these true WW fighters. He is too afraid to fight them, he always makes up excuses typical of a person who ain't got balls.

Mosely, Cotto, Clottey, Margacheato, PW...they are all there waiting for you. If you say you are the best, PROVE IT! Beating down a lightweight just to don't cut it, pick a fight with someone your own size!
Beating Collazo and an overated cheat Margarito makes you the best @ WW?

Cotto beat more WW than Shane & has a Win over Shane.....so how is Shane the best WW?

I think Shane would have been a good fight for Floyd "I Spent All My Money" Mayweather 2-3 years ago. Now, I'm kind of doubting it. But the guy is wily, he works with B-Hop (who knows a thing or two about aging gracefully), and his speed is comparable to Floyd's.

The JMM fight was a joke. Not because JMM isn't great (because he is), but because the weight-class comfort zone was completely out of whack. It was just like when Pavlik jumped up 1.5 classes to fight B-Hop. A good fighter going way out of his element to fight a defensive genius who rehydrates to miles above the agreed upon weight.

Floyd looked at least 154 in the ring.

He won't be able to get away with it against Shane. They'll fight at 147, and it may be a good one!

You are exactly right. Cotto has the better WW resume and is the rightful king of the division. Cotto's only loss is also now a topic of controversy; whereas Shane got to fight the bean-eating cheater without bricks in his gloves.

Cotto has more "rights" to Money than does Shane, but I don't mind the fight happening in the interim.

every fighter should get credit for winning any fight. I'm sure Marquez and his team believed they would beat able to beat Floyd and it just didnt translate in the ring. People need to stop making excuses. I mean damn Mayweather fights a man that is smaller than him trying to challenge him and he gets no credit.

How many times has Mayweather fought a smaller fighter than him? Im sure you can only count on a few fingers.

Yeah right, Shanes a big threat, Floyd knows this, that much is obvious.

Whoa I don't know if Floyd-Shane would reach Floyd-Oscar fight? But, I think it can do a million buys or close to it. That is why for the life of me I don't understand why Floyd or his fans do not want this fight?
