Comments Thread For: Retirement Is Far From Terence Crawford's Mind: "I'm Still At The Top Of My Game"

Though he dominated as an amateur and as a world-class professional, Terence Crawford has always been aware that his time in the boxing world was very much transient.

How do you know if you're at the top of your game, without fighting the top in your weight class?

Yeah, yeah, now you really want the Spence fight. Damage control at its finest. Spence should put you on a timeout, and fight every top fighter in the division before he gives you another shot. As a matter of fact, after he goes through those guys, Errol should insist that you have to fight one of those young lions first, meaning Boots, Virgil, or Stanionis, not no fxcking Avanesyen. If you win, Spence will go ahead and beat shxt down your leg for undisputed....oh, no rematch, the Big Fish just wanted to prove a point, then move up to 154.

Spence has mandatories lining up! WBA will mandate him to fight the winner of Stanionis vs. Ortiz Jr. (if they make that fight), and IBF will mandate Spence to face Boots! Crawford may never see Spence @ 147! He might as well try to get Charlo, then Spence @ 154!

Still doing a lot of talking, overlooking the opponent. Let's see if Avanesyan can at least wobble Crawford.

Avanesyan got beat up by Lamont Peterson and KO’ed by Kavaliouskas years ago. He isn’t doing anything to Crawford. That’s why he was so carefully picked. Avanesyan also doesn’t have a ton of pop.

If he faces Charlo, there will be no Spence after. Jermell will dent Crawford's forehead and break that weak ass chin.
