That's what I was thinking . If someone can take it to that fat gut and slow him down. They might have a chance in the latter rounds to punish him and put him away but then again some fighters take body shots very well.

Fury often used Joyce as a sparring partner and seems to be confident about that fight, so maybe Fury knows something like the above. Nobody really judges distance better than fury in the heavyweight division, especially when he has the longest reach to go along with it. I think that’s necessary against Joyce if you’re a fairly big man. Although I could see Usyk giving him problems with agility like Jennings did. Sometimes these small fighters are hard to pin down. Jennings would probably give Joyce some problems too

Also, we haven’t seen Joyce in with a decent fighter his own size, never mind as big as Fury. Fury is excellent at getting into a clinch and wrapping fighters up because his arms are long. He would outbox Joyce from range and just wrap him when he got close. He has a 5” reach advantage over Joyce. And seeing as Fury is the best in the division at judging distance and using reach, he’ll make it count.

I’m still curious about how Joyce will do when he faces a top fighter who has an elite mentality. I’m a fan of Joe Joyce, and I think he would be a nightmare for someone like Joshua who doesn’t seem to be the mentally strongest fighter anymore. But when you look at his biggest wins which are Dubois and Parker, well
DD just nearly got stopped by a South African cruiserweight and took the knee twice, so i’m not sure on his level. Parker’s last three fights before Joyce was 2 with Chisora, one which most thought he lost which is why the rematch got made… and then one with Junior Fa which was very close fight and Fa got knocked out by old Lucas Brown in one round in the next fight.

i think from fighting Dubois and this Joseph Parker to
fighting Usyk and Fury is such a huge leap at this point in time. I wonder if Joyce could bridge that gap, but I’d love to see him get that chance to.

Didn't realize the sparring partner part, just couldn't figure out why Fury wants to fight him so bad but blows off Usyk, get it now.

Fury weakness compared to other ATGs is longevity andvresume. Best usyk, joyce and Josh and that plugs the holes.

People won't talk abou5 weakness when his resume is strong. Ali couldn't fight inside or body punch, but that's not talking point

Of course Fury is different but dancing around Joyce for 36 mins seems a long time.

Usyk I don't know. I don't know how he beats Fury unless he is actually in there doing it and winning, lol.

I am sure it is different when you're ringside and can hear the shots but on tele it looks wild. You are thinking that has nothing on it. Fast forward a few rounds of JJ landing consistently and his opponent is f.uckin walking towards the light.

I like Fury, but let`s get real.

Ali, Holyfield, Lennox Lewis..al these guys were tested many times on elite level, that is why we found out all there weaknesses.

Fury looks unbeatable because Klitschko was the only elite fighter he has ever fought. It is not a great era and even in this era his last fight was Chisora?

Fury should be tested more on higher level ( in today`s terms). let him fight Usyk, Joyce, Joshua, Sanchez, than we can talk.

He just hasn't fought a good counter puncher

wilder a forward attacking one punch bomb(not a counter puncher)

Wladimir never really a good counter puncher his main offense was mainly sneaky offensive jab right hands and left hooks all initiating punches

                  chisora come forward attacker

                  Whyte was just whyte

If Fury fought the luis ortiz wilder fought he would have most likely been in the hardest fight of his career

joshua is a decent counter pucher too no wonder he wanted no part

Can't really think of any other good counter punchers at heavyweight right now but let's just say if he fought a good past elite heavyweight counter puncher he'd have no chance

Hes so clumsy and easy to read for a sniper counter

Tyson would have polaxed fury in 2 rounds

Once Usyk beats fury, the weaknesses will be more clear. But seriously, usyk knows what furys weaknesses are and won't divulge them.
