136 pound catchweight still bugs me.

Tank is a PPV star because Mayweather's fans (like me) bought all his fights. The little Baltimore corner boys aren't buying his PPVs, it's the older folk like me who came up with Floyd from golden gloves - Olympics- pretty boy - Money. Tank has a lot of support because we fuqs with Floyd and Leonard. The same goes with Ryan and Oscar. Ryan gets support because of the Oscar fanbase. I don't know if it's smart to bite the hand that feeds you. But we will see on Jan 7th. I will be there in full support of you young Tankster!
Hell, if you check what he has made actually you will see he hasn’t been feed. I’m glad he moving forward.

I’m happy for Tank, he has a fight coming up and a proposed fight depending on outcome of him and Ryan’s fight and his court date. If you don’t take a chance you don’t have a chance, step out on faith and let all the haters hate with their broke selfs.

Tank is the “A” side so that should give you your answer. Look how much he blows up between fights. That should be another clue.
He really should be fighting a CHAMPION. LIKE Haney, Loma or Shakur but he took the easiest fight he could. Garcia is not very experienced but he is HUGE and is FAST. There’s a 20% chance Garcia could ruin tanks day.

I think he is getting that or close to it. Tank gets his guarantee then Floyd pays him bits out of his pocket for being a good boy. Unprecedented weirdness, but thats what's been going on, Floyd has admitted to it in video.

That's all good and fine at this point in time but he could've had his cake and ate it too had he not been so self-indulged with his own ego and pride. Essentially being short sided and jeopardizing the longevity of his promotional outfit. Tank WAS MP promotions. This isnt like Oscar losing Canelo as he still has Ryan and Ortiz Jr as potential future stars. Now Mayweather left without a single notable fighter in his stable nor one in the pipeline to make his promotional outfit remotely relevant. Not a great decision for the longevity of your outfit.

Does it really matter if MP survives or not? It seems like it was just an imprint of PBC anyway, rather than a distinct entity.

Maybe not for Al Haymon and PBC but I'm sure Mayweather and Ellerbe are reeling right now. Mayweather always had a chip on his shoulder towards Oscar and what he's built and continuing to build with GBP so this no doubt is a tough pill to swallow as it's sets May's own company/entity back exponentially.
