Tank needs to be careful about stepping out on his own. Floyd left Bob because he knew TR wasn't going to promote a black fighter like they would anyone else. Tank had the full backing of Floyd Promotions. If Tank wasn't under the tutelage of Floyd he would be Shakur or Devin, who are great young boxers but relatively unknown. Tank is a PPV star because Mayweather's fans (like me) bought all his fights. The little Baltimore corner boys aren't buying his PPVs, it's the older folk like me who came up with Floyd from golden gloves - Olympics- pretty boy - Money. Tank is the “A” side so that should give you your answer. Look how much he blows up between fights. That should be another clue.
He really should be fighting a CHAMPION. LIKE Haney, Loma or Shakur but he took the easiest fight he could. Garcia is not very experienced but he is HUGE and is FAST. There’s a 20% chance Garcia could ruin tanks day.

This isnt like Oscar losing Canelo as he still has Ryan and Ortiz Jr as potential future stars. Now Mayweather left without a single notable fighter in his stable nor one in the pipeline to make his promotional outfit remotely relevant. Not a great decision for the longevity of your outfit.

Maybe not for Al Haymon and PBC but I'm sure Mayweather and Ellerbe are reeling right now. Mayweather always had a chip on his shoulder towards Oscar and what he's built and continuing to build with GBP so this no doubt is a tough pill to swallow as it's sets May's own company/entity back exponentially.
