Good. These guys are not journalists, they are vultures. They would sell their grandmother for a bit of "content".
A while back I remember seeing some boxer doing a public workout and in shot off to the side you could see Michelle Phelps, Elie Seckbach and some other vulture of the same ilk all standing next to other filming it on their phones in the exact same way, so they could all upload the exact same video with the exact same click-bait headline ("Joe Bloggs displays RAW BRUTAL POWER on the mitts!!!") later on that day, all scrounging for their scraps of that Youtube money.
I just remember thinking, you lot really are the leeches of the boxing world.Comment

I seen this type of behavior before. Raheem probably wrote something negative about Floyd and they knew who he was and instead of calling him out on it and giving him the content he wants they just ignored him lol.Comment

Raheem is likely the only interviewer that actually asks tough questions - that's more likely the case. Raheem did an interview with Broner just before the Mikey fight and he was like, "obviously you're known for knocking out smaller guys" - and Broner wasn't having it (despite it being the truth).
Raheem did a different interview with Crawford, that was after the Kavaliauskas fight I believe - and asking about Porter, Crawford said something like he's undisputed and Raheem said, "yeah but not at 147 doe!".
He's the only interviewer not afraid to throw some shade on these fighters. He just did it with Chisora - basically telling him (without outright saying it) that it's time to hang them up.
In this situation, I think some other interviewer pissed Floyd off and he was done overall. There were tons there.
When he was on HBO, you couldn't STOP Floyd from getting on camera even if he didn't like the person (Larry Merchant).Last edited by Combat Talk Radio; 12-04-2022, 11:44 AM.Comment

My thing is we all have jobs to do, but there is a common courtesy and respect that should go with it. There's a way to talk to people regardless of position
