He is just selling the fight, I donīt think they care much about each other.
Usyk already lost the mental battle

Joyce screaming back and forth with Fury like two wasted frat brothers was definitely the more strange and concerning encounter

Usyk looked totally calm (and a little insane), as always.
And (as others have already pointed out) I don't think he understood much of what Fury said - not only is English not his mother tongue, but Fury also speaks with a heavy accent. English not being my mother tongue either, I often don't understand what Fury is saying.Comment

I havent seen a fighter allow verbal abuse like that since Chris Eubank Sr allowed Toney to punk his ass on a live tv interviewComment

I don't see Fury as "relaxed" at all. Most of what he does is a facade to hide his frailties as a human being. There isn't a more relaxed fighter than Usyk other than maybe Fury.
From Fury's end it is tongue in cheek and for the crowd.
Tyson says whatever to Usyk and 1 minute later he is respectfully acknowledging Usyk as a master boxer to ESPN.
Usyk isn't bothered and Fury knows he will have to hype the figbt.
Probably why Fury still wants to fight Wilder again. A bit of back and forth and an easy sell.Comment

Usyk wasn't bothered. He was there at event. If he had social anxiety he'd not be there.
He was probably thinking were nearly same height your not 6,ft ,9inchLast edited by hugh grant; 12-04-2022, 07:15 AM.Comment

If usyk loses it will only be down to physical advantages. Hes the most mentally strong fighter in the sportby a distance. Literally spent his whole career fighting in the away corner and not flinched an inch.
Fury doing this is just the mask coming off and exposes the kind of person he really is. It all works in usyks favourComment
