Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Slightly Heavier, Dereck Chisora Much Heavier For 3rd Fight Than Their Rematch

Tyson Fury is a much bigger star in his home country than the last time he fought Dereck Chisora. The 6-foot-9 Fury wasn't much heavier Friday, though, than he was when he weighed in for their rematch eight years ago. Manchester's Fury stepped on the British Boxing Board of Control's scale at 268 3/4 pounds for his WBC heavyweight

Their has never been an era in boxing with so many flabby heavyweights, one of the reasons boxing is on the decline is because it's warriors no longer look the part.

Sounds like Derek Chisora has been training at Dunkin donuts rather than in a boxing gym. There were a lot more qualified contenders to face Fury than Chisora. Fury could have found a better tomato can to fight.

Why does it sound like he's been training in Dunkin donut? he's been 260 plenty of times in fact he weighed more in their first fight than he does now.

Which this article conveniently forgot to mention and that was what 11 years ago? when arguably he should've had an easier time shifting weight.

There is literally no one in the WBC rankings who hasn't fought in the last month or two other than Wallin, Hunter, Anderson and Bakole none of which will sell like Chisora and they can't afford to fight Fury without it being a somewhat viable PPV...

Not even sure Michael hunter still boxes and I doubt they'd rush Anderson into a Fury fight so that leaves Wallin and Bakole really...

These guys are just looking for some Christmas money. It's not a serious fight. Sparring for cash.

Chisora might have had short notice to get ready and who knows what he weighed in at coming into camp. He absolutely has no chance unless Fury sticks out his chin and says hit it.

Guess you've never watched MMA because it's no different at heavyweight - Tank Abbott, Roy "Big country" Nelson, Derrick "The Black Beast" Lewis, Tai Tuivasa so on and so forth and MMA is far more popular than boxing and their heavyweights are often much more sloppy looking.

Chisora tucked into a fair amount of McDonald's and Burger king burgers.

Unfortunately he doesn't punch like George Foreman.
