Benavidez eats his shots like nothing and gets him out of there in rounds 8-10. Have you seen Benavidez’s 168 weigh-ins? The guy looks 2 pounds away from death. A fully hydrated Light Heavyweight Bandera Roja will be unbeatable. After Plant he needs to just move up since we all know Canelo doesn’t have the cojones to fight him.

Foot speed isn't all that matters. Bivol is a good mover but moves in straight lines. Benavidez has very impressive reach, length, and ability to cut the ring off. Close fight for the first 8 but Benanvidez will take over down the stretch and win 7-5/8-4 type of fight.

Cut off the ring with those feet? Not a chance. Nothing close about it. Ramirez replay.

Zurdo & Canelo are tough fights for Benavidez, and Bivol handled them both. I think Bivol schools Benavidez, and gets him out of there late. David has been fighting guys smaller than him, Bivol or Beterbiev won't be pushed around as easily.

I read the title too fast and thought it was Bivol vs Beterbiev.

I voted UD against Beterbiev but would choose stoppage against Benavidez.

Nobody beats Bivol in the division rn. He'll throw a punch, slip a punch AND counter a punch in the same instance. On the way to slay a monster, he became one.

According to multiple sources Benavidez owned Bivol in sparring and it sounds completely believable to me considering what I have seen from them in the ring. Everyone is obviously on the Bivol band wagon after his last two fights but in reality he is still just a basic ABC fighter who struggled with craig richards a few fights ago.

Benavidez is the more talented fighter with more power, variety in offense and size, he would win a clear decision. Bivol is a good 7/10 fighter but nothing special. His last two average opponents flattered him. Fools still under estimate how well Benavidez can box if he needs to. He will wreck Bivols body, with his great body punching, then we will see how fast Bivols feet are.
