Other than we have already seen the former and it was boring and one sided, and how the hell does Bivol deserve a shot at the 168 undisputed over Benavidez? rankings don't matter? What a joke.

I think champs from other division is allowed to have a direct shot of the title of another division if both champs agree to fight... Champs trump mandatories or #1 contenders....

Which one of Benevides fights lead you to believe he can stop Canelo? Bowling over 2nd and 3rd rate contenders isn’t a very good measuring stick when rating vs a quality fighter like Canelo.

The fact still remains. If Benevides had the professionalism to make weight and pee clean every time out, he would have gotten a Canelo fight already.

After Bivol said that he is not interested in fighting someone he beat already now he is willing to come down in weight and fight him again?

I guess the business of boxing wins again.

Arum doesn't wanna risk Beterbiev against him until 2024 and Bivol hasn't any money fight on the line. Maybe Buatsi fight makes a bit money. He wanna payday nowadays.

Going down in weight is such a huge risk especially when you have beaten the guy already and he is the one that has something to prove. But you are right, 95% of the time the business of boxing wins. The covers the promoters, fighters, sanctioning bodies and even were they fight.

Click "watch on YouTube" and you will see that this is 3 years old. This video is NOT relevant today. I'm not saying he wouldn't go down to 168, just be aware that this is NOT some breaking news.
