Is Lennox Lewis the reason for majority of Supersized Heavyweights?

Guys 6’5+ 250 lb+ always existed worldwide and it’s only a small increase in them in some parts of the world today but prior to the 2000’s those huge guys didn’t pursue boxing. After lennox lewis reigns majority of good heavyweights were coming at heights of 6’4+ and 240 lb + was he the main influence of this ?

huge guys are usually slower and not as athletic

then roids got better. Lennox was the first of the super heavies that was clearly roided.

As a result, we have Vitali(roider), Joshua(roider), Fury(roider) coming through the ranks. The others not caught on PEDs were/are clearly roiding as well, Wlad, Wilder(third fury fight) etc

No, lennox lewis didn't father all those guys.

Most heavyweights champions throughout history were on the taller side of their division, but people get taller generation by generation

Yes, it all started with Lennox. And that's why Mike couldn't beat him because Lennox is a Super Heavyweight.

People are not that taller much taller than they were in the past. In the 90’s the majority of heavyweights were 6’1-6’3 210 lb - 230 lb in the 2000’s things skeyrocketed that’s not even a generation

Wlad had one of the most chiselled bodies of HW boxing history

                  It wasn't just him.

                  It was Rid**** Bowe too.

"Big Daddy" Bowe was the first superheavy to win the Undisputed title in the modern era, then George Foreman showed that his size made him formidable even into his 40s.

Andrew Golota was the first European one

So, it was a whole process.

I agree with the poster who said it was the roids too.

Roiders used to be stiff like Frank Bruno was, now they can maintain their size and add speed & endurance.

A Super Heavyweight these days, is a Heavyweight who 90% of the time? Is a Heavyweight out of condition.

Very few Super Heavyweights in today's era are solid. There is only a few Super Heavyweights who are at that level,

Note: I don't think Lennox Lewis ever weighed in over 250 pounds, maybe once in his last fight vs Kiltschko.
