WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, 34-years-old, admits that he's simply not ready to walk away from the sport. Back in April, Fury packed Wembley Stadium with 94,000 screaming fans - who watched him score a knockout victory over mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte in six rounds.

I think it’s just business with Floyd. He’s still building his brand across the globe. It’s all marketing. He gets to make millions taking low to no risk fights and he doesn’t have to spar anymore. He barely has to train. He’s getting courted everywhere he goes. I don’t think he’s having trouble letting go of the sport. I think he’s just getting easy money.

Agreed 100% here. Floyd isn’t a guy sticking around past his expiration date. He’s found a perfect lane for himself to make money and is taking full advantage.

At least Fury is honest about how much he still needs the sport.

True about Floyd, am sure he doesn't need the money, but wants the adrenaline buzz.

Mayweather and Pacquiao could probably come back for a rematch and do over a million or two million pay per view buys. It wouldn't be be great, and they're past it, but well, you know the general public would pay for it.

In Mayweather as defence, he’s probably making more than any active boxer doing these little exhibition fights. A bit difficult to knock his hustle if he’s pulling in 50-100m annually with this stuff

Floyd at one point had a stable of fighters, but seeing they all failed with exception of maybe three who won belts Ishe Smith, Badou Jack, and now Gervonta who’s on his way out he has every right to earn an easy living also, why not? Easy work!

Fury will struggle after his retirement. He has good amount of money. He needs more investments. Three books are enough.

What Floyd is doing is brilliant. He's been boxing since 2 so I'm sure it is hard to leave a habit alone. The fact that he gets to fight bum Youtubers for millions and it gives him a reason to stay in shape (Not that he's ever out of shape) is a double win for him.

you can’t be 2 decades in and hundreds of millions of dollars earned and still be building your brand. As much as I hate to say it Floyd is doing it because he NEEDS the money. Floyd’s last big pay day was 5 years ago with mcgregor. I can garauntee you If Dana didn’t block Floyds rematch with mcgregor or the khabib fight Floyd would not be seen no where near a boxing ring right now like he wasn’t seen for years after all his big pay day fights. Floyd only laces up when the money bag is getting light.
