It's been a few years since Dillian Whyte has been at the top of his game. He's clearly slipped over the last few years and doesn't belong fighting in the top tier anymore. His last few fights have been lackluster, and he's no longer the fearsome competitor he once was. It's time for him to step down and make room for the new generation of fighters.

Wilder on the other hand is still a great fighter in spite of his brutal losses, and he has definitely shown a lot of skill in his fights. He has slipped a little bit, but they say punch power is the last to go. I think he would be a great opponent for Joshua.

However, I think it’s important to remember that Joshua suffered two straight losses to Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk. This has led many to question where he is mentally and emotionally after these losses.

Joshua didn't take much physical damage from the fights, but his ego is undoubtedly bruised based on his behavior after the second loss.

On the other hand, Wilder took a lot of physical damage from his two losses to Fury, and now has a permanent dent in his head according to his brother, but seems to be okay mentally.

But regardless of all that, in my estimation, we the boxing fans would be in for a real treat if Wilder’s manager can get him that fight with Joshua. Because it would be interesting to see Joshua and Wilder fight and see what happens.
