As far as mandatory, isn’t it funny how Canelo only wants to fulfill mandatories when it’s a Yidilgrim or Ryder but wasn’t as eager when it was a prime ggg or Charlo. Let’s also see how eager he is when it’s Benavidez. As far as favorite boxers, I don’t think any current boxer is making meaningful fights on a consistent basis in a way that they should. And that includes Canelo.
Benavidez has been his mando.. Canelo refused to take the fight.. so they created an idiotic interim beltncor Benavidez to hold LOL.. Canelo picks and chooses which mandatories he wants, as long as it’s a scrub.. comical BS!!!

Canelo wants a tuneup after surgery. Nothing wrong with that, it's reasonable.

But even his "tuneup" will still be a WBO mando. That's a decently high standard in my opinion.

It's not like he doesn't also mix in fights with "boogiemen" like Bivol. His quality of opposition remains better than anyone else in boxing.

He definitely wasn't considered a "boogieman" by you guys, and most for that matter, before the fight. You can't retroactively consider someone that after the fact.

I clearly said on these forums that Bivol was going to be a tough fight, genius. BEFORE it happened.

How about now, though? Is Bivol considered a boogieman going into 2023? Because Canelo plans to fight him again.

Calling it a tough fight really isn't the same as calling someone the boogieman. It's also not much of a premonitory stance as someone with Bivol's skill set gives Canelo tough fights. Pretty sure you implicitly implied that Usyk would be a "tough" fight too, yet didn't rule out a Canelo victory as well. You truly thought Canelo was ****ing Superman a year ago.

Are you going to give Canelo full credit for fighting a boogieman if he faces Bivol next year?

Why would I? I don't give credit to if's. So until then, he's a guy who's ego is broken, who's continued to give excuses as to why he lost. If Bivol had this "boogieman" reputation before the fight, I'm sure Canelo would've been more reticent about fighting him.

You need to go on the record before the fight.

If Canelo rematches Bivol next year will you give him full credit for fighting a boogieman? Or are you going to call it a cherrypick and discredit him?

Let us know now ahead of time so we can hold you to it.

No, I'm not going to give him full credit. And why the **** would I call it a cherry pick? Things don't always have to be either or. You're so desperate for others to feel the same way you do for him.

Is Bivol not dangerous enough for your standards?
