Reliable sources has informed me via (dont drink the milk, its spoiled, pass it on) that the PBF/JMM PPV last saturday has reached an all time record high of 1 BILLION buys. Nevermind the fact that there isnt even 1 billion people with access to purchase the PPV event, numbers from "reliable" sources dont lie...
However, there is a bit of a wrinkle on how these PPV buys were tabulated. As it seems, since Mayweather jr. is already considered the greatest without actually fighting the greatest and given credit for already beating them on paper, the Mayweather camp has transferred this philosophy in counting PPV buys. Now PPV buys are not physically counted anymore, instead numbers are garnered by who "COULD HAVE" "WOULD HAVE" and "SHOULD HAVE" bought the PPV...
When Mayweather sr. was asked of the validity and legitimacy of this new system of counting PPV, Mayweather Sr. replied, "hey man, when I trafficked coke and heroin in soap boxes, I didnt ask how many presnant womens and chillsrens got hooked... I just got paid the same..."
