He was. No longer, though. He seemed compromised.

Zepeda beaten and not the first time. I guess you could say fighting a better fighter is “compromised”. Zepeda clearly beaten by a better fighter. That is all……..

The first real loss for Zepeda. I hope he comes back.

Not true. Three career losses. Explain how Flanagan and Ramirez don’t count. I’m sure Zepeda comes back but I don’t know if he can be a major player again. With Prograis, Teo, Sabria, Ramirez, maybe Taylor, and a slew of talented 135ers set to move up, it doesn’t look good. A move to 147 wouldn’t go well either.

Ramirez is nothing special. Taylor was exposed by Catterall. Lopez is unproven at 140.

The Flanagan fight ended with Zepeda injuring his shoulder. The Ramirez fight was extremely close and most fans believe Zepeda got jobbed. Prograis was the first guy to clearly beat him.

Injury losses count too. I agree that the Ramirez fight was close but I disagree that most fans thought Zepeda was robbed. At least as many thought Ramirez won.

I don’t think Ramirez is special either and I expect Prograis to beat him. I agree Catterall got robbed but I think Taylor had an off night. I also think Taylor moved up win lose or draw and I don’t think Zepeda can beat Catterall either. Teo? We’re talking about five lbs. I can’t see Zepeda beating him. I would favor Tank and Haney over Zepeda as well.

Taylor is not beating Catterall. They looked like two completely different classes of fighter. The rematch will be shockingly easy. I didn't say Zepeda was robbed against Ramirez, just that many fans believe he deserved that decision. Zepeda is a low voltage chill guy who never makes waves. That works against him. I'd make the Pedraza rematch or Commey for Zepeda to see where he's at. If he can't beat Pedraza or Commey, it might be time to hang them up.

You said most fans thought Zepeda got jobbed. You said most not many, HUGE difference.

I should have said "many". Many as in at least half.
