He's ****ing terrible. He looks awful even when being protected (Povetkin, Wach, Franklin) He even got rocked in the second Povetkin fight and Povetkin couldn't even walk to the ring properly.


He's not in the top 10. Might not even be in the top 15.

Matchroom have used all the smoke and mirrors they could to try and convince people Whyte is a world class HW. He’s in reality quite average. It honestly amazes me that this man has headlined SEVEN PPV’s. That’s four more than Carl Froch did. Financially speaking, he’s possibly the biggest overachiever in British boxing history.

There are levels in the sport, It is clearly obvious that Whyte is above domestic level.

But threads like this? Can only be made by people who have once believed that Whyte was Elite level.

Dillian Whyte has never been a elite level fighter 'This is not a crime'. He has been predominately a High End European level fighter - Low World level fighter.

Nobody can discredit Whyte's effort and gameness to take on big fights, and considering his ability he has had a good career.

If match-room want to make Whyte vs Joshua, than need to make that fight next. If Joshua's intention is to get back to elite level, then he should not be taking tune up fights before fighting Whyte 'Who I no longer rate as a World level fighter'.

He’s a good fighter, not great. You gotta think about how tough boxing is and how hard it is to even be considered “average” or above journeymen level. Whyte is a little more than a gatekeeper. He can’t beat the elite but he can beat lower than elite guys. Even if it’s “life and death”.
