At the end of the day though, I am pretty sure there were reports that Hatton vs Pacquiao sold over 1 million or 1.5 million and it did 800k (still good), I aint sure whether Arum said it did over a million as well, can't remember... but I still remember it having reports of potentially doing over a million after the fight and once they were tallied or whatever they did 800k+ (still good though).

What I am trying to say with this though is that there could be reports saying it might have done over a million buys and still not get that... reports are reports... its a good thing for Boxing if it did but I aint gonna jump to conclusions and say it is... when it might not.

This is surprise, i expected number between 500,000 - 600,000, this is huge for boxing.

Only negative is, it will give Floyd more leverage about % split, ans it will be harder for big fights to happen, fights where Floyd will actually fight legit WW (Cotto, Mosley, Williams, even Margarito).

And Iole is most of time full of ****, let's wait for official numbers.

Its just reports... nobody knows the correct numbers yet, they will come out soon... I doubt it will do over a million. But judging by your post you seem to be bitter just over a report saying it might have done over a million buys, you should be happy for it to be that successful if it is, it shows that that many people were interested in Boxing on that night, which a lot of people ****ted on the fight, UFC had a PPV on the night, etc. It would show that it was a successful night for Boxing I guess.

I doubt it will do over 1 million though, when you think about other things and it all adds up, UFC had a PPV that night, people were ****ting on the fight anyway, the movie theater idea will take a few numbers away unless they state how many movie theater buys they get, plus there are more things to add to that really. I think about 550k at most maybe 600k at a real push, cause like I said it all adds up really.

But who knows... things can be surprising, so I guess it could do a lot more than people expected... I mean, more shocking things have happened I guess.

as much I don't get into all of the "who's the draw" arguments...all those who said that this fight wouldn't sell anything will NEVER ADMIT THE ABOVE...FACT.
