The People’s Champion: Gennady Golovkin, Fan Favorite

Gennady Golovkin is one of the most beloved middleweights of all time because of his aggressive, powerful style of fighting. He has won multiple championships and has defended his titles many times. He is also known for his willingness to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. He even offered to come down in weight to fight the great Floyd Mayweather, but as Mayweather was afraid of the inevitable, the fight was never made.
Golovkin has a fan-friendly personality and is always smiling. He is truly a class act and a great role model for aspiring boxers.
Gennady Golovkin is a special fighter for a variety of reasons. For one, his boxing skills are exceptional. He has a very high fight IQ and he is able to make adjustments in the ring that other fighters cannot. He is also a very powerful puncher and he has the ability to hurt his opponents with every punch that he throws. Additionally, Golovkin has a tremendous work ethic and he is always in great shape. He is a true professional and he always comes to fight.
Gennady Golovkin has been one of the world's best boxers, and he always trained for his next big match with the seriousness of a warrior going into battle. He likes to spend a lot of time in the mountains, where the air is clean and the scenery is beautiful. The higher altitude is also good for his training, as it helps improve his stamina and endurance. Golovkin is known for his relentless style of boxing, and spending time in the mountains helped him keep his mind and body in top shape.
Gennady Golovkin was robbed by Canelo Alvarez in their first fight. The decision was atrocious, and it was made even worse by the fact that Canelo Alvarez tested positive for clenbuterol prior to the rematch. This just goes to show that the boxing world is still corrupt, and that the best fighter doesn't always win.
Gennady Golovkin was robbed by Canelo Alvarez in their highly anticipated rematch in their second fight night as well. The Kazakh warrior did everything in his power to win the fight, but the judges inexplicably scored it in favor of Alvarez. It was a travesty of a decision, and one that will surely be debated for years to come.
Golovkin came out aggressive in the early going, landing big shots and forcing Alvarez to backpedal. Alvarez did find some success in the middle rounds, but Golovkin took over in the later rounds and seemed to be on his way to victory. But in a shocking turn of events, the judges scored the fight in favor of Alvarez, much to the dismay of Golovkin and the boxing world.
It was a disappointing end to what was an excellent fight, but there's no denying that Golovkin was robbed. He did everything he could to win, but the judges saw it differently. It's a decision that will surely be debated for years to come, but there's no question that Gennady Golovkin was robbed in their second fight.
Gennady Golovkin won a moral victory over Canelo Alvarez in their third fight, where he was expected to be knocked out by the much younger Alvarez, but managed to surprise everyone when he made Canelo struggle and look winded multiple times. This is because Gennady knows the secret of self-deprivation and old-fashioned exercise in the high elevations, which expands the lungs and strengthens the body’s ability to process oxygen. Gennady Golovkin will be remembered for being a clean fighter who never sought an unfair advantage over his opponents. On the other hand, Canelo Alvarez is a dirty fighter who will always be remembered for using illegal performance-enhancing drugs, which is why he was suspended for six months. This is a shameful thing and disappointing to his fans, as they must always wrestle with the specter of their hero being a cheater and coming into his great successes through devious means. However, boxing fans will remember how GGG is a clean fighter and a true champion. He should have won the first and second fights with Canelo, and although he only narrowly lost the third, in spite of being over forty, and in spite of most pundits and fans expecting Canelo to knock him out, he fought till the final bell and made Canelo look slower than usual, so much so that people started talking about the definite possibility that Canelo is past his best. Most likely, he lost a lot of his talents due to the toll of having three hard fights with Golovkin, which most definitely took a lot out of him. Gennady Golovkin deserves to be the true middleweight champion of the world. He will always be The People’s Champion.
And when all is said and done, his career, and his trilogies with Alvarez, will be cherished by boxing’s fans and students for centuries.

ggg is an overhyped, overrated boxer with no heart and no ambitions to be great. He has played it safe and ducked many other boxers while trying to convince people that he is the one being ducked. He has contradicted himself multiple times on championship and business narratives. He is no mexican style. He is just a slow and stiff robot. He is nothing special and is profoundly unimpressive.

The only WC he ever beat was Lemuiex lol. All his other belts were vacants or upgraded. Waited years for a pay day vs Canelo and didn't even bother to fight until round 9. Lost all respect for him after that. Just a glorified can crusher.

Very ironic coming from a Benavidez fan girl.

Prime GGG was monster. He was criminally avoided during his prime and got a raw deal in the first two Canelo fights.

With that being said though, he does lack that career defining win. I thought he beat Canelo twice but it’ll go down in the history books as a draw and a loss.

I also believe GGG should retire, he looked like a shot fighter in September. He can’t pull the trigger anymore IMO.
