      Sweetness.

Jesus Reed, a 25 mil bet on the 2nd most one-sided fight of the year so far (Sorry Mayweather fans, the asswhipping Mosley put on Margarito still gets the gold in that category)? Pretty solid.

yeah... I raked in 29.7 million on the Floyd fight, including a Chris John win.

Either way... This topic right here... is over, my thread will NOT be hi jacked with this bull**** subject... this is for betting.

          END.
I personally think clinching requires more energy from your legs than laying on the ropes but thats my opinion.

Hopkins did tire against Joe, after 10 rounds of lateral movement, punching, etc.

          Something Roy couldn't do.

I respect you though so i will say nothing else on the matter as you asked even if you reply to this one.

It's not like I can say Roy did better then bernard in the Joe fight... he didnt.

Joe's style was too much for Roy, the way Roy fights allowed Joe be too much, throw too much, and tire Roy out... the way Bernard fights, spoiled the way joe fights.... but that fight IMO isnt evidence of why Bernard beats Roy. This will be a chess match in the center of the ring... bernard wont be volume punching Roy, and he wont be bullying Roy into the ropes... he will try to use his movement vs. roys, his combos vs roys, his boxing vs roys... using other fights as an indication of why bernard beats roy isnt a good enough reason IMO.. add on to the fact that the bernard fight will be Roys 5th fight in 15 months, and it will be a 17 month layoff for a 45 yr old bernard.... I simply favor Roy.

But this is my opinion on the fight.

            Yes lets end it here.

If there is one thing Hopkins has, its his legs. He may clinch (Calzaghe clinched a lot too), but his whole career has revolved around using the ring for 12 rounds. Lets not forget all the angles, and the fact that he doesn't get hit. At the end of the day it will be the angles he gives, and the fact that Roy's leading shots will not work. Against guys wth no defence a leaping left hook with your hands down will work, but against Hopkins you will miss, and he will counter. I think this fight will looke like Hopkisn vs Wright, with Hopkins winning it.

Sorry bully but i disagree on that part.

The reason Hopkins lost to Calzaghe was because Calzaghe forced him to use his legs more than he wanted to which lead to him getting tired late on.

To be fair though, i don't think there is any fighter around Hopkins weight that can make Hopkins use his legs like Calzaghe did.

If Hopkins still has something at this stage, its his awesome defense and his ability to counter effectively.

he only looked tired in the Calzaghe fight. He used his legs for 12 rounds agains Pavlik, and looked like he could have went 12 more. He wasn't in the same spot for more than 5 seconds. Hopkins legs ae fine. It was his 43 year old stamina which caused him to tire a bit late against Calzaghe. Also it was Calzaghe simply throwing shots non stop even when he wasn't anywhere near hopkins which made the fight lookt he way it did.
