Tyson Fury has been on a tear as of late. He’s coming off of back-to-back wins over Deontay Wilder and Dillion Whyte, and he’s looking to add another big name to his resume. His next target is Oleksandr Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight champion. Fury has been vocal about his plans to fight Usyk, and he’s even gone as far as to say that he’s going to “splatter” him.
While Fury is a great fighter, and he’s certainly capable of winning this fight, it’s hard to see him actually “splattering” Usyk. For one, Usyk is a very tough fighter, and unlike Fury, he has a perfect record. Furthermore, Usyk is a very technical fighter. He’s very patient and calculated in his approach, and he’s not the type of fighter who is going to get reckless and get hit with a big shot, unlike Fury, who has been down four times against Deontay Wilder and one time against USS Cunningham.
In addition, it’s worth noting that Usyk is notably faster, smarter, and stronger than Fury. This is not an ideal matchup for Fury, and it’s going to be tough for him to deal with a fighter like Usyk who is faster, stronger, and more technical than he is.
All in all, Fury is a great fighter, but he’s going to have his hands full with Usyk. It’s going to be a tough fight for him, and although many predict him to win, it’s not going to be a walk in the park.

Fury would be rightly favoured. But if anyone thinks Usyk is an easy fight for them, they're mistaken.

Beating Usyk would cement his legacy. Without that his resume is thin. The only HOF worthy fighter is Klitchko. Usyk would arguably be the best he’s faced.

If Usyk is no good, what does that say about AJ. You can't have it both ways, AJ was celebrated on this forum when he knocked out Klitschko and Povetkin. You can't just say he's absolute shyte. No, it's because Usyk is so talented he made him look bad. In 20 fights, Usyk hasn't even touched the canvas yet. Joyce hasn't even been wobbled. If Fury whoops Usyk and Joyce, those are solid wins. You can't take that away from him.

Give me Fury vs Usyk next then the winner faces Joe Joyce. While that is happening make Wilder vs Joshua.

Fury is just all wrong for Usyk. Usyk is a great fighter. Fury is a great fighter with every advantage.

Regardless of who wins and who loses, it will be a phenomenal fight to watch. Usyk is giving away a lot of size, but hes a great tactician, like Fury himself. I cannot wait. If I had to bet, I'd go with Tyson, just because of the size advantage, because a good bigger fighter will always beat a good smaller fighter. I'd say theyre even, or very close to evenly, matched as far as talent and ability are concerned..and to ppl who cite Usyks beating AJ, they should remember the man he beat also cried and threw the belts when he lost. Hardly a fighting man.

Fury -280 favorite currently. Fury too big and too strong. Usyk may have his moments but I see Fury busting him up

If I remember correctly Fury knocked out USS Steve with a stiff forearm.

Usyk is slick, but so is Fury. IMO it will be one of the more intriguing fights in years.
If Usyk can avoid Fury's power, he'll do well... but still I think Fury wins.
