Comments Thread For: Charles Conwell: After This Fight There's No Going Back - It's Only Up!

By Thomas Gerbasi - It seems that despite just turning 25 earlier this month, Charles Conwell has been around for a long time, doing nothing but winning as he pursues a world title shot at 154 pounds. But the 2016 U.S. Olympian remains patient, though he wouldn't describe it as such.

Charles Conwell can do a lot of things to ensure he has a bright future in his boxing career. He can start by making sure he is in good physical condition and is able to train regularly. He should also try to stay away from any type of illegal substance use, as this can lead to disqualification from competitions. Additionally, Connell should try to maintain a good relationship with his coaches and trainers, as they can provide valuable advice and guidance. Finally, he should always be willing to learn and adapt, as the sport of boxing is constantly evolving.

Conwell is still out there as a sleeper. Rugged fighter, good inside fighter, always liked his grittiness and no nonsense approach.

Charles Conwell, is one serious professional boxer, expect him to go far in his career!
Virtually a certainty to win a title at 154 pounds, how long he'll hold on to it will depend on who he faces!

He's excellent with a beautiful style, but in my view, he hasn't been quite the same since Patrick Day. What I see missing is that rock hard, peak conditioning and some of the mean streak. He's still mean, but not like b4. It's almost like in the back of his mind, he left a little piece of himself behind that he needs to rediscover. Ezzard Charles, Ray Robinson, Emile Griffith, Sugar Ramos, and many others had to learn how to really hit a man hard again, after taking a life. Its not easy to be exactly the same as b4

Not if Charlo and Fundora are still in the division. Maybe he can fight Jesus Ramos or Xander Zayas or Yoelvis Gomez or Israil Madrimov to see if one of them can become a top contender. Right now he is just one of the many fish in the sea.
