I can't see how this came close to a million, though i do think it did better than most think... (sorry if this has been posted).. There's rumors going around saying this did 1 mil buys and one article says as high as 1.6!! wtf.. no way

I saw Dan Rafel on ESPN before the fight and he said that when the fight got made, most insiders said that it would do like 600,000 but he said now all the insiders are saying that it could do 850,000.

I also think that most people on here were feeling the same way about the 600,000 but as things progressed everyone on here ripped Floyd and said that the joint would be empty and the fight would be lucky to do 400,000. Therefore if he does 6 then I think its great and if he does 8 then people have to bow down and kiss the ring. If he does a mill or more then all the haterz & media guys better own up to the fact that they look like fools and give Floyd his due for being the real cash cow and also admit that he owns Pac in PPV numbers & negotations

I think i predicted like 450 or something but i got alot of ppl i work with that said they saw it... and i even saw it at a friend's house who really doesn't watch boxing.. maybe it's me but i swear i saw logos for this fight everywhere.. i remember being in home-depot and i saw like an ad for it in one of the aisles tho i can't remember what else it was in connection to.. i think tools or something...also on one of the local channels(florida sports or something like that) they were showing the making of the ppv ad..

true statement. a lot of casual fans were asking me about it, although I told them it was a crap fight that floyd was going to easily win, they were still interested.

you have to remember the hype machine that went into this fight, if they do that for manny/cotto, it will prob do better than this fight.

very interested in the real numbers.
