It’s all toasty when you’re undefeated and making money fighting guys you know you can beat. As soon as Buds name appeared, now all of a sudden they can’t make a fight. Stall the negotiations, blame Bud, and we’ll fight Thurman. They weren’t fooling anybody.

    • If the 29-year-old version of Keith Thurman couldn't beat the 40-year-old version of Manny Pacquiao in 2019 (who has only fought once since then), how is he going to beat Spence? This fight is of little interest to me, TBH.

Yep. Fans pretend like this fight is something.

Same feeling here, it seemed like it was all there for him post-Floyd. I thought he would be a legit star - he's done well but there was a lot left on the table imo.

He's way too aloof for me now; he probably was then but I overlooked it because I just wanted him to succeed to become a face in the sport.

Always hated that he never got a shot fight Floyd or Pac years ago so that wasn't a help either.

I followed Spence in the amateurs and when Floyd had him as a sparring partner and all the rumors were floating around, the hype was huge and I felt like I had discovered Spence with my peers so I was extremely let down.
