Unless TR and GB screw this one up, the fighters are ready to go. William Zepeda is a formidable opponent for Shakur as his first fight at 135. Shakur is huge even at 135, but he hasn't done anything at the weight yet, so let's slow down the hype. I must admit I like Shakur's confidence and call outs. I wonder why he doesn't call out Gervonta Davis.

As for Isaac Cruz, I understand why he doesn't want it. It has nothing to do with fear. Cruz was expecting the crooked WBC to order a fight against Loma. I get his point.

Apparently Shakur's side sent an offer. Lets see how Zepeda responds, looks like radio silence so far.

If an offer is sent, good. Depends on what the offer is. If the money is right, Zepeda is game. Just because an offer is made, doesn't mean he has to take it. He's a top 5 lightweight. I have Zepeda at number 2, after Davis. Pay the man.
