I find it very sad that posters were totally fine with Shakur relinquishing his belts like a cheater. Everybody sees how huge is. The dude is way younger than how Jacobs did the same trick with GGG and Canelo on morning weigh ins, but at least Jacobs did the actual weigh in. This shows the type of character that Top Rank and Stevenson are since Conceicao is of no importance to anyone so they skimmed the Brazilian.

it’s a 1.5lb that would’ve affected Shakur’s performance. It literally means Shakur could’ve lost. It’s the same crap Floyd did with Marquez. It’s all cheating. Didn’t fans reject Benavidez’s win in the Angulo fight because he lost his belt? Then some fans were happy that David was then ranked at 175

LOVE Shakur mentality but yeah he will have trouble finding quality opponents willing to step in with him unfortunately and they will use the "He Is Boring" "He Is Not A Draw" excuse to avoid him for as long as they can

That is the downside of boxing so Shakur will just have to work his way to Mandatory

Cruz is ass. The only ones who hype him are the stank fangirls to make the win seem legit.

Also you dont grt credit for the valdez win is cause he should of lost the fight before you.

Dumb, even for a complete moron like you. How in the phuck does Stevenson relinquishing the belts equate into him being a cheater? The rest of this is incoherent dumb shyte.

By all means bring on the Stevenson vs Zepeda, two undefeated fighters virtually at their peaks.
It's hard to believe that someone by the ring moniker of Pit Bull would turn down a call out, by a champion.

Because the contractual weight was 130 for a “championship.” Knowing his high purse he didn’t mind paying that small fee just so that he didn’t have to endure the blood sweat and tears to make weight like Conceicao. Given Brazilian currency, it’s very easy to persuade while giving a bonus, or no fight. Cheater

Stevenson might come in at 137 and just pay a fee like before

He BARELY missed weight (1.6lbs) and you want to compare him to Benavidez, who came in 2.8 lbs over? Additionally, he had already lost his belt before due to ******* - Stevenson is nowhere on the same level as that!

You want to talk about how Conceicao was cheated because Stevenson missed weight by 1.6lbs (which indicates he still tried to make it and was probably somewhat dehydrated going in there) yet he was actually paid for his troubles, unlike how he was really cheated when Valdez failed drug tests, was still allowed to fight Conceicao, then lost to Conceicao but was gifted the win and had to pay no fines whatsoever. Where was all the sentiment towards Conceicao then?

Cutting weight isn’t a new thing, everyone and fighters talk about it. Less than a 1lb and promotes can breath in SOME relief that it’s shaved off within an hour. Some fighters fold as they were already at the threshold not making weight. It was 1.6lbs. that’s more than Davis did with Gamboa whom was 1.2lbs over. Davis even missed with Fonseca at 2lbs

you guys are naive if you think they’re not missing weight intentionally. Their splits are so high compared to their opponents that they are happy to pay that minuscule fee just to feel good. Davis and Stevenson could make the weight but could impair their performance. Again, cheating and exploiting the system
