Everyone should hold back on they're opinions until we know the truth.

Eddie pretty much lies every day to the media so we know that's probably true at least, anyone going to say slave trader junior has never lied to a fighter? Never made promises he couldn't keep.

On the other hand Okolie is an average weight bully bore fest, Eddie's worked magic with careful matchmaking in a weak division & probably made him a millionaire.

Boxxer and Queensbury are starting to leave matchroom behind and I think we will see more and more of this.

        Likely fault with both parties.

I'm not sure it was appropriate for Hearn to be in a relationship with one of his fighters in the first place

Okolie's not the first to be on the shelf as far as hearn is concerned. They never tried to get Luis Ortiz a HW fight when he was there. Wanted to control Wilder's next few fights to sign for (possibly) an AJ fight, so they could shelf him. hearniac fangirls talking about "wait and see when the truth comes out". Okolie is already putting the truth out there. You all are waiting for "the spin" by hearn. LoL!
Even World Champ Usyk got his goods and quickly said his relationship with hearn is DONE (and he kept his real promotional team at the forefront the entire time - smart).

It’s a typical case of conflicts of interest. To my knowledge Okolie has one fight left with Matchroom.

Okolie wants to sign with Boxxer who have the better options and platform for him.

Eddie doesn’t want to lose him to the competition so is essentially shelving him. He probably also feels Shalom is trying to poach a fighter he built.

It’ll probably get messy legally I reckon. We’ve seen it in the past with Ward-Goosen, Garcia-Arum even Burns and Warren in which Hearn was the guy doing the poaching. Boxing always comes full circle.
