He will be a defensive genius again with the shoulder high and rolling thus causing Manny to punch up and lose power.

I contend that P4P wise, in the appropriate weight classes, that Manny is still a better P4P fighter because of his mixture of skill sets but at 147 Floyd will beat Manny. Manny may even get stopped because unlike JMM he will not continue attacking and could walk into a number of big counter hooks from Floyd. I also think Floyd will flush Manny with a lot of lead rights due to the orthodox vs southpaw match up. I believe Manny's chance is to be 100% dedicated to the body for the first 3 or 4 rounds and maybe get Floyd to crouch a little then throw more upper cuts than he has ever thrown. I say this because up the middle coming up is where Floyd seems to leave himself vulnerable. But Manny can only do this if he gets Floyd to relinquish his height. He can only get Floyd to relinquish his height by going to the body hard and often.
like what? if you break it down the only think many has over floyd would be a slight hand speed deferential and his flurries. that's it.

The only reason why he didn't ko JMM is because he knew if he opened to gain ground back in the fight he was done he never threw a right hand cause when he did floyd knocked him down and hurt him. but didn't finish him hmmm... could it be because he wanted to have a longer outing to knock off the rust? I think so.

Mannys footwork will be key. As long as he doesnt stay in front of him, and constantly has his head moving while trying to turn him, he has a good shot. Manny already has good movement, being stagnant in place against floyd would be costly. One of the things floyd likes to do is lead in with his gaurd down, exposing himself looking for a quick right potshot. Hatton and JMM fell victim to this, I dont know why they didnt see this coming. Manny will be better prepared under Roach

If anyone has a shot at FLoyd it's a southpaw. Zab had a good few rounds and was able to land clean shots, but he was weak mentally and couldnt re-adjust when floyd did. Manny isnt as dumb as Zab. His speed, along with his workrate could give problems to floyd. Manny punching from all angles ala ODLH could sneak in an offense against floyd. We havent seen an offense like manny go against Floyd yet.

ODLH under roach looked almost better than anyone floyd has fought in years, but odlh was out of his prime and out of shape. he had skinny arms with a fat body, and was gassed around the 6th. Floyd only managed a SD against him, Manny's physicalness and speed would look alot better with Roach and a game plan. This Cotto fight could tell alot

sure....so floyd didnt want to knock JMM in the 12 becuase he just wanted that extra round? floyd would sell one of his own kids to knock out JMM, so he can brag about a KO. But he couldnt get it done.

"floyd wanted practice" what a joke

yes and no yes he wanted the KO but you can't KO a guy who isn't will ing to exchange or try for a win. JMM made a conscious decision to go to the cards. with that May did his best to get it done but when a guy isn't trying to win the fight what do you do. put on a clinic. makes perfect sense... by the forth JMM just wanted to see the 12th.

look at wlad vs Sultan Ibragimov, Sultan just wanted to see the 12 and didn't open up and just wanted to see the 12th.

          makes perfect sense.

no, it doesnt. that sounds alot different from what you originally said

and JMM was going all out in the 12, and even had floyd BACK UP during the end. Floyd stepped back like JMM was tyson
