I am pissed at Bud, and I will be pissed at Spence, if he fights Thurman! If he wants to make a statement @ 147, he doesn't choose Thurman! Thurman is only slightly better than Avanesyan, and that's only because he was a "former" unified Champion @ 147! However he did nothing after Manny beat him, then comes back vs. Barrios, and WBC makes him mandatory? That's BS and we both know it! I want Spence to stick to his words, don't fight Thurman, fight Boots! Nobody could criticize Spence EVER, if he chooses Boots! I've said this once before, you should've been a match maker for one of the top fight promoters in boxing. Spence vs Ennis is a blockbuster event anywhere that it's held. Spence vs Fundora at at 154, could be billed as the Preying Mantes vs the Black Panther, (in homage to the late great actor Chadwick Boseman).

I lost all respect for Thurman when he said he didn't know who Boot Ennis was! If he had beaten Boots, Stanionis, Ortiz Jr., or even Cody Crowley, I wouldn't mind him getting a title shot, but not Mario Barrios!
