Their first fight was close enough to warrant a rematch. But Baumgardner wants to be undisputed champ and she's willing to go to Seoul to tackle Choi.The American belt holder is entitled to that type of endeavor. Mayer can wait, or better yet, work on her craft until Baumgardner is ready to fight her again.

They're both angling for Taylor at 135, but Taylor won't be interested unless one of them is moving up as undisputed of their own division. Undisputed vs. Undisputed. I thought Baumgardner won a close one. I would not mind a rematch.

if baumgardner really thought she won and couldnt lose in a rematch , she would take the easy money and do it again. choy aint going anywhere.

baumgardner was gifted a win imo and dont wanna run it back.im american and i wanna see the rematch. i do think womens boxing should be 12 rds 3 min ,as the short fights dont do them service.

baumgardner decided before the fight she wasnt gonna fight mayer again , this could be a rivalry and womens boxing could use that

Quit crying, you lost. I don't get the "if she thought she won". She 100% won and you were there when it was announced. Close fight so its fine to think you won but if she is going for the other belt, fight and beat the next highest contender and leave no room for another opponent.

I hate the crying after these fights, do better during the fight.

No problem with a rematch, if Alycia wants it. Would rather see undisputed for now though. Interestingly enough, Mikaela hasn’t given anyone a rematch. She certainly didnt blow everyone out. More like she just landed a few more punches. The women certainly need that extra min/rd to work. 3 is better then 2 mins.
