    The Desperation Of Shane Mosley

Jin Mosley had to be all to familiar with what the boxing world is beginning to know as Shane Mosley. His post fight ring antics after the Mayweather fight shows how desperate Shane has been looking lately. Now that he has 3 secured dates next year hopefully he will think his next move out before looking foolish. Anybody remember when he walked into Freddie's gym telling Freddie that he will dry down to 140 to fight Pac?

He went on ESPN telling Brian Kenny that Floyd is scared to fight him, seems really out of character for him to behave this way, we arnt used to this from him. The last thing I remember Jin saying is that she did the divorce before the Marg fight and didnt want any money from that fight, surely she is well taken care of though, I wonder if she is draining him financially because this isnt typical Mosley.

Desperate or not, what Shane did was very very smart. In those few seconds in the ring, he got the public interested in the fight. Now he can't simply be ignored by Mayweather without some raising some eyebrows.

This is boxing not cricket, sometimes you have to step on some toes to get what you want.

I dont blame Mosley for being desperate. the guy is 37 or 38 already, and has more than earned his right at big fights, not only because of the career hes had but his flat out domination and destruction of Margarito.

and its more than just the Margarito win, Mosley fought a VERY close fight with Cotto and convincingly beat up Collazo, which isnt something Hatton or Berto could say.

the guy has earned his right for the big fights, and I have nothing against him going after Mayweather like he is.

This is exactly what I thought Mosley should do, he is actually doing a way better job at it then I thought possible.

The problem with that move is the timing and that there seems to be more interest RIGHT NOW in a Pac-Man vs Mayweather fight.

Mosley is competing against that potential HUGE money fight. And that is his biggest problem.

arum already said after the cotto fight win or lose, pac is gonna take an easy fight to boost up his popularity for the elections in PI.

that means the pac payday won't happen until later 2010.... that mean we can have mosley/floyd early 2010!

If promoters and politics get in the way of a real good match up, and if a boxer has to resort to getting in the ring and calling out a fighter, then so be it. Boxing is a rough, tough, physical sport, not ****ing pokemon.
