    Canelo’s “tune up” opponent.

    Who’s it gonna be? A defence at 168 against the Parker/Ryder winner? Maybe William Scull who’s IBF mandatory? Or does he fight at 175 to help prepare for the Bivol rematch?

        Morrell is a PBC commodity for whack Sampson Boxing. How could PBC even entertain asking Canelo for this fight with splits? Morrell does no numbers and hasn’t beaten anyone, so his offer from Team Canelo / Hearn would be small that Sam and Al Haymon wouldn’t bother. This is the reason why promoters try to go to purse bids with mega stars because of obligatory Splits. If Morrell loses to Canelo that Cuban guy’s brand is done and hard for PBC to sell his fights afterwards. There first has to be formal mandatories announced for any theory to be talked about
