And Floyd cheated by weighing more than Marquez (which I doubt)...or just the fact that floyd has an overall advantage in arm length...how can you justify one win from the klitch brothers? Cause them mother****er can win fights off of jabs alone...
So if size matters that much....

Thinks its because they are fighting folk from their weight division mainly.
Dont think Vitali/Vlad would get much credit from beating up on Cruizerweights or Light Heavies -
1. They are heavyweights
2. They are not great heavyweights. They are just good heavyweights in a bad heavyweight era.Comment

Size, especially in lower weight classes, is extremely important. Not only did Floyd outweigh Marquez, he had quite a bit of reach and height on him, making it nearly impossible for JMM to land anything of significance without having his head planted on Floyd's chest. You can't counter if you can't reach. Stop and think about it....5" reach advantage, in guys this size? That's huge, and gives you an idea of the real size difference in the two.
Marquez was probably giving up about 16 pounds, in addition to that 5". The entire debacle was completely predictable.Last edited by Stickman; 09-23-2009, 08:03 AM.Comment
