Dude has pretty serious pedigree although he was never an Olympian or World Champion (Tischenko was a puzzle he couldn't quite figure out and got the placings over him for the biggest tournaments)

No man. The Makubu fight earlier in this year. You summed it up right and according to my eyes the guy you picked won but Makubu got the decision because there was mention of him possibly fighting Canelo.

Damn, just got in about a minute into round 7... looks like a pretty even scrap according to the unofficial scoring... and those boys are going to war. Arsen maybe looks a little stronger but Alexei giving every bit as good as he's getting.

These boys putting on a good show of heart... not exactly oozing in style though, more of a toe to toe slugfest

I think tracking back you probably just missed the start by a few minutes... unless my stream was running behind or some ****?

Ah right, Mchunu... yeah. That was just blatant favouritism cos they knew Makabu was probably beatable but Mchunu's a slippery mfer who would have given Canelo fits.

This time however the favourite rightly won. You could see Egorov superior technique early from the highlights I've caught (I didn't get home till half way through) but Goulamirian is tough and got that stamina and Alexei didn't have that pro-experience to see him into the late rounds. Good fun fight with both digging deep but the French Armenian got the deserved win this time.
