Another stay busy fight I suppose. No way a Ryan Garcia fight happens in DC. I don't see it happening. Would it be great for DC to lure a lucrative fight of this nature? Of course. But it's unlikely in my opinion. That fight will definitely be in a bigger and hotter market. Sucks that it's being negotiated to go down at a catch weight. Davis is a small 140 pounder and Garcia is at a good size for either 135 or 140. This fight can be contested at any of those official weights. No need for a catch weight to give room to any fighter to make weight an excuse.

You can almost hear the shovels digging looking for his next opponent. More than likely it is going to be Mares, it will be a very short night.

Whoever he finds...I'm sure there's guarantees and no risk as usual.

I'm gonna guess it's a rematch with Cruz, he needs a way outta the Shakur fight anyway.

I really hope not. That's a very bad fight for Mares.

I said it then and I'll say it now, the Ryan Garcia fight ain't ever happening as long as both are with their current promoters/networks.
