Comments Thread For: Robert Garcia: "Boots Ennis Is Going To Have Trouble With Vergil Ortiz"

The boxing community continues to twiddle their thumbs and wait patiently for the mouthwatering showdown between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. But while their patience is beginning to draw thin, Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Jaron "Boots" Ennis are slowly but surely making their way up the ranks.

Won’t be an easy fight for either of them. They’ve both shown vulnerability, but Ortiz has proven that he can fight trough adversity with his fight against Mean Machine.

Ortiz looks limited when forced on the backfoots. But fair play Robert, let's set up the fight.

Even how good Ennis is I have seen him get hit good in between his punches.

That would be a great match up if it happens.

Both of these guys are good, very good ! It’s unfortunate we don’t get to see them often and probably won’t see them against each other until they are in their 40’s… due to greedy promoter match making…

I’d put the house on Ennis.

Garcia, I hate to say it, but he should go pick out a headstone then! I seen Vergil face after his last fight and he wasn’t in with anyone close to Boots talent power and ring IQ. I can recommend locations for grave markers if fight is ever made.

Vergil all day. It will be sparks love. These guys suck. They need a ref to let them sucker punch and hold and step in when they get caught.
