What factors do you have when working out your P4P list?

Please explain the factors and give examples if you can.
    • I look at the fighter and what weight classes he has fought.
    • I look at his achievements like belts.
    • I look at who he has fought.
    • I look at his style.
    • I look at his skills i.e. how he attacks, how he defends, how he moves, what punches he has in his arsenal etc...
    • I even look at his age and how many wars he has had (Maybe a little contraversial)
    • I look at how he won his fights.
    • I look at what would he do if he fought better opponents. (This part is probably the most hardest to judge, and some would say wrong. I like to think, okay what would happen if Calzaghe fought Pavlik, or Maywetaher fought Cotto etc...)

    What do you guys think?

I look at skills for the most part, but you have to couple skills with winning.

Floyd has the greatest skills in the world but if he doesn't have any fights, he's nothing. So it really comes down to skills, who you've beat, and how.

Let's took at the root of the p4p criteria.

Sugar Ray Robinson is the barometer of the p4p criteria.

      1. He fought EVERYBODY.
      2. Beat most of them.
      3. And his style is percieved as the pinnacle of perfection in boxing.
      - quick feet, movement WITHOUT DISENGAGING, power, boxing skills

In order to be called p4p...

      1. You have to beat everyone, if possible or most in the least.
      2. You have to beat them convincingly.

Gayweather has not done the 1st. The 2nd is trivial.

Gayweather can never be p4p using that criteria.

I don't bother makin up a list. But in lookin at Ring's, ESPN's, or whoever's, it's about resume. Skill is gr8 of course, but you can beat top comp wit brawlin, volume, etc. Pure skill ain't the be all end all. It's beatin the best comp.

I look at fighters and think "if they were the same size, who would win?"

But p4p is all bull**** really. Nobody really knows.

Who told you to take it seriously gayweather stan?

In the first place I dont want you to take it seriously so that readers here can further understand the idiocy of gayweather stans.

              You're a tool for me.

And you really have no answer to everything that I say.
