    I was very disappointed with Smith on Saturday. He looked lacklustre and was very reluctant to commit/exchange despite being the bigger/sharper puncher. He’s a long way off World level. He should defend the British title a few more times and build from there.

      I like Dalton a lot & really don't want to see him rushed, so no talk of World title's for at least 18 months please. A voluntary against current Commonwealth titlist Sam Maxwell could work well next, while Harlem Eurbank & Robbie Davis Jnr might be useful future opponents. The Lonsdale belt outright should be his main aim for now & if successful a challenge for whoever's EBU champion come late 2023/early 2024.
