He can fight whoever he wants. Unreal dedication from the face of boxing. He would rest just 8 months after the surgery. Other idiots fight once in two years in healthy situation.

Ginger talks of Benevidez as being a weak opponent, having not fought the competitive fights, makes sense to come back with this fight… Lol

          1) The excuses are hilarious. 2) It was NOT competitive. He lost every round.

He needs to fight a real challenge in Benavidez, Bivol and Beterbiev.
yeah right, he ain't going nowhere near Beterbiev, he's already ducked him 4 times now. He's had ample opportunity to fight him. Now he just sits around and jacks off with his fans about how he can beat Usyk after weight draining him. Utterly hilarious. I love these guys that think moving up and fighting shot fighters means anything. Hell why not move up to heavyweight and fight Hasim Rahman.

I wouldn't fault Canelo for taking a tune up fight next to be honest. The Bivol fight doesn't interest. Of course there's a level of intrigue because of the "what ifs" but in all actuality, Bivol is simply better than Canelo. A fight at 168 is a bit more compelling than a rematch taking place at 175. Either way, Bivol beats Canelo imo. I want to see him fight Benavidez or Charlo.

I tell you, Canelo has got some big cajones, to want to fight Bivol again.

Bivol may not have the extreme power of Beterbiev, but he's so skillful and tough to beat. Stylistically, the toughest to beat in the light heavyweight division.

Benavidez is not next, as he has a fight next year with Plant. I do think Canelo will take him on at some point though.

As a side note, Canelo, love him or not, doesn't have to fight anymore. He certainly doesn't need the money, but now fights because he's still one of the best, and for legacy.

Sticking to the legacy and only legacy… in your opinion, what name/fight (if he wins of course) would enhance his legacy the MOST next? In my opinion, It’s in this order…

                  1. Bivol/Beterbieve at 75
                  2. Bivol at 68
                  3. Benavidez at 68 or 75

That’s it! No other fight or name with a victory would move the needle much more then these people and only reason I have Benavidez even on here is because of the fact that I truly believe that when his career is said and done, he’d be a HOF..

                  What say you?

The original article this was taken from, Canelo actually said he would face Bivol in May. Then he said he expects Benavidez to beat Plant, and would fight him because he wants to fight the best.

I wonder why this article left all of that out?

Beterbiev and Bivol have been ducking each other for years you dumb gimp. They've been champions at 175 since 2017/18 and not once have they ever talked about a fight between themselves. So f.uck off you dumb moron.
