Honestly I think Rayo is well rounded when rewatching his fights but is unable to make the right adjustments likely because his camp is too offensively minded. He could had easily survived the round if he was more careful.
Once he rocked De Los Santos who recovered instantly, he rushed in the intent of overwhelming him with body work instead of carefully head hunting against a live explosive one punch knockout boxer. You can't just overwhelm someone that can take you out with one shot.
This is not to take away from the Dominican at all, just a take that Rayo could had done better if he was patient and gradually break him down with his impressive range at lightweight, he is physically 5'11 (180cm).
