Comments Thread For: Mayweather-Deji DAZN Pay-Per-View Weigh-In Results; Controversy Over Fury-Bamba Weight Discrepancy

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is set to continue with his active exhibition tour. The status of the show's co-feature is not quite as clear, however. More than five years after his final sanctioned bout, Mayweather showed off a still-chiseled physique as he weighed 154.3 pounds for his third exhibition fight of 2022. The Hall of Fame former five division champion faces Deji, a social media influencer who weighed 175 1/4 pounds for their scheduled eight-round bout atop a DAZN Pay-Per-View event Sunday from Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In the co-feature, unbeaten prospect Tommy Fury--the younger brother of lineal/WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury--caused trouble at the scales. Manchester's Fury (8-0, 4KOs) was well over the light heavyweight limit, weighing a beefy 181 1/2 pounds for his scheduled six-round bout with Paul Bamba (5-2, 4KOs), a New York City-based Boricua who weighed 174.6 pounds.

Who would've thought that Jake Paul was going to be more of a professional than Tommy Fury

Jake is a better professional what? Definitely not a boxer as he’s never stepped in the ring with one.

Jake hasn't cancelled any fights, Jake hasn't missed weight. Jake hasn't been banned from entering countries due to ties with mobsters. Tommy Fury has fought less skilled opponents than Jake at this point. He can't even be bothered to make weight to beat up this no-name they served up for him. He's an instagram model, pretending to be a boxer.

Fury has NEVER made 175 don't know why people are really that surprised by this.

              The closest he's ever been to 175 is 177 3/4...he's weighed 183 3/4 against Callum Ide(173).
