After a while, the common denominator is the guy with the weak opponent list.
That's arguable you could say PBC just put on in house fights and Crawford was on the outside looking in arguably by his own doing...

Rather then him being the common denominator PBC seems to be the common denominator not only in this situation but multiple other situations, across multiple divisions.

          Kavaliuskas who?
          Benavidez who?

That sums up Bud’s ATG resume
Porter was coming off a win: "Manbun" Formella. But he had two bad hips and a triggered trainer.

He had the right dance partners at the right time. Mayweather wasn't getting big fights in 2004 when he was the top dog at 140.

He had Oscar in his sights there was nothing much at 140 all big money was at 147 that's why he skipped 140 pretty quickly.

My take: Crawford was going to get the smaller cut of the purse (b/c he's a smaller draw) than Spence, and this made him act out and make unreasonable demands in other areas of negotiations. .... His bloated ego and total lack of skills as a negotiator doomed this fight. That's it.

Crawford was being a dumb ass, because if he just accepted a slightly smaller purse in this fight and beats Spence, then HE gets the bigger purse in the rematch--and gets TWO HUGE PAYDAYS, plus a big boost to his boxing legacy. .......

Instead, he's fighting some nobody off the streets of Moscow for $20. SO ******.

There's been a public backlash against Crawford and it's his own fault.
