Even some of our local bands were booking event space to go do shows out there. He single-handedly ruined the entire WW schedule for 2022. I watched all his fights and was mad as shyte when he resigned with TR in 2018. I was ecstatic when he left this year and I just knew that at 35 yrs old he understood that PBC was his only option to finish his career. I was excited at the potential fights between Bud vs Spence - KEEF - Danny - Boots - Jermell and so on and so on. Now we will probably never see any of it because I seriously doubt that Al will ever work with him again. Damn shame!!
Youre not the Lone ranger there that's for sure, I just want Bud to fight some meaningful fights, he was on the edge of a unification bout and chose a B grader that will earn him less than half of what he would get from a Spence fight, madness and bad business is all I can say.

If it is not the money, is it the fear of losing the title?

      Who knows.

      The Offer Still Stands...

For The Love Of Boxing we must make these fights happen
      Just wondering…who is “we”?

He's going to play this tune all the way to his retirement.

Maybe he shouldn't have been looking for an out, shopping for another fight behind closed doors 1 month after starting negotiations with Spence.

        Just a thought.

We cant talk about that or the contract he was asked to show that says they agreed to all his demands, we must stick to the phantom offer because it sounds so juicy like pulling rabbits out of invisible hats.

Wasn't Spencer part of the multi fight agreement for carnelo before?

Spencer was part of the original pbc offer to carnelo was it not? A catchweight at 164. Spencer just wants to cash out and he knows losing to crawford rids him of that payday

We all expect the Vegas odds to be right near even if they fought. I mean it could be a stinker of a fight, neither willing to commit to trying to really win the fight and take a risk. Course it could be a great exciting fight at the other end of the scale. They should just bank on being able to have a rematch if not a trilogy. If you end up being the lesser fighter then at least you were still set up to earn from two matchups at least. I know they don’t like each other which is supposed to help sell… but imagine if they were friends? Realizing this is a way to line both their pockets. If you lose, then you can say at least the win went to someone you admire. You could have two fights, no matter what the outcome you could always come out of retirement to fight again to make each other some money later on.
